On October 11, the 13800DWT chemical/product oil tanker "JXQ0012" was successfully launched at Zhoushan Xinqi Heavy Industry's Daishan Base. The vessel was ordered by Oriental Prime Shipping and Island Holdings. THRUSTLEADER supplied the TLTT135 500kW tunnel thruster for the vessel.

This is the second vessel of the series, following the successful launch and sea trials of "JXQ0011". The vessel is classed by DNV, with a length of 129.99 meters, a beam of 22 meters, and a depth of 11.8 meters. Its cargo tanks are made of S32205 duplex stainless steel, capable of carrying IMO Type I/II/III chemicals and product oils, including caprolactam.

The TLTT135 tunnel thruster is designed for this vessel type. It provides side thrust during low-speed sailing and berthing, making the vessel easier to maneuver. It is a good fit for chemical tankers that frequently call at ports. The product has passed DNV survey and meets shipowners' requirements for high-quality equipment.
